The White Label

I love these wide-leg pants. I've been tall from birth but when I wear these flowy pants and pair them with high heels, all 178cm of me feel even ten times taller!

I Belive in Pink

I never wear pink. Probably as a subsequence of not owning anything pink. The only pink pieces I own are my laptop cover, a Tangle Teezer, a Victoria's Secret dressign gown received as a gift, and well, this skirt. I love this skirt. Everyone wear pink. I feel like I'm simultaneously channeling my inner Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and The City, Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, and Blair Edie from Atlantic-Pacific blog - all 3 amazing women. Seriously, just, wear pink.

Believe the Hype: Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer

Clinique has long been one of my favourite brands for skincare. I was originally introduced to the brand when I had a lot of problems with my combination skin growing up, as most teenagers and young adults do, and still get the occasional hormonal spotting (someone tell me why it's always in funny places, like in the middle of my forehead or at the tip of the nose so that it becomes literally unmissable? WHY!?). Luckily with Clinique's products I got rid of my skin problems – however I was left with some acne scarring, especially on my cheeks. Fortunately most of the scarring has faded away on its own over the past few years, but my skin is nowhere near where I would love it to be, which is where a good primer, foundation and concealer come in. Problem is, I'm quite lazy on an everyday basis and don't want to spend anymore time than necessary doing my make up by applying 40 different products to my face to get a good coverage, especially in the mornings. I'd rather just sleep the extra 2 hours.

I've long been a fan of Laura Mercier and Benefit when it comes to base products, but there has been so much hype around Clinique's new Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer I thought I would give it a go as my previous foundation was running out, and I think I've found The One. And by The One, I mean the game changer foundation that excites make up enthusiasts and make up lazy girls like me alike. The product gives a full coverage without feeling too heavy or cakey, leaving a natural looking skin that matches beautifully with my own tone. It moisturises, doesn't clog my pores, and lasts throughout the whole day. And it comes in 21 different shades, Vive La Diversité. Application from the beautiful glass bottle is fuss free with no pumping, squeezing or {place another dodgy word here}.

I originally went on the hunt and shade testing in Central London, rummaging through three Boots stores, John Lewis, Debenhams – all were sold out in my shade, the Cream Rose. I've never seen that happen before, it gives a good indication to how much people are after this product, and for good reason as it is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I was left with 2 choices; get on the WAITING LIST (bonkers, I know) or try to find it online. At this point I was determined to try it asap, so opted for ordering online from John Lewis. It's also available online from Boots here. Happy concealing.

Sorry for the silence in the past week, I've recently taken on a new project which I'm really excited about so been directing most of my spare time towards that. But fully intending to get back into blogging more over the weekend, have a good one everyone! :)

March Pinboard + Weary of You by Candide

Spring! Spring! SPRING!

Someone over here is well excited for March. Spotting first blooms of the cherry trees and seeing the SUN for more than 4 hours per day is lifting up my spririts almost as majestically as Secret Garden, Josh Groban and Westlife all performing "You Raise Me Up" combined. I'm not really sure what exactly it was about this winter that weighed me down so much. Whatever it was, I'm so ready to leave my winter coats behind and enter into the denim jacket season.

March is going to be full of so much fun stuff I can hardly contain myself! I've got friends and family members visiting from Finland, loads of awesome gigs and such happening, the Alexander McQueen Exhibition (travelling tip for anyone coming to London, this one is a must-see), visit to the Warner Bros. Studios, spring collections are finally taking over the winter sale, the duration of the day is getting longer, cool collaborations in regards to the blog and sooooo much more. I'm such a happy bunny at the moment, I want to wish you all equally happy times and thank you guys for sticking it out with me.
