I Do (or Do I?)

I am without a doubt, inevitably, with every passing day, getting older, folks. Getting older in my twenties in turn means I'm inevitably getting closer to the time when my friends are starting to get married and breed. I was more of a tomboy growing up (actually, I still am very much a tomboy) so dreaming about my perfect wedding dress was never really on the table. My table was overflowing with Action Man figures, Legos, and the PlayStation. That, of course, inevitably changed when I joined Pinterest and Instagram and found the wonderful world of women online sharing inspirational DIY wedding decoration projects and dreaming about ridiculously beautiful wedding dresses by Zuhair Murad, Monique Lhuillier and friends. Times they are a-changin', and this summer I will have the privilege of attending more than one wedding. Even though I was never really big on planning a wedding for myself, I have always enjoyed a good wedding (cake, that is). Problem is however, the ever-oh-so-old story known to most women - I have nothing to wear.

For someone who tends to leave these things to the last minute, or just enjoys shopping from the comfort of your home, your prayers have been answered by UK based Aisle Style. They stock an array of wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and evening dresses fit for a wedding, including MOTB (mother of the bride, as I've recently learned). Basically, every single dress you need for your wedding can be found under one address, which is pretty stress and hassle free, huh? Somehow it seems quite unheard of to someone like me who thought weddings will inevitably be like tomato soup on the stove in a pan that's been brought to boil, and is now ready to explode all over your kitchen and most importantly, on your new beautiful apron.

As said they stock a large range of different bridesmaid dresses that you could easily use at another event as an evening dress as well. I fell especially in loves with these colourful beauties.

Space Boots

Morning lovelies,

By the time that you find your way to this post I will (hopefully, if we don't oversleep and miss the train) be en route to Bruges to find a midget and all that sort of stuff that Colin Farrell got up to In Bruges. And I'm sooo excited, for various reasons 1) holiday 2) never been to Bruges before c) Chocolate & waffles & beer d) holiday e) it's nice to get away from London every now and then f) (probably should've mentioned this as reason number one) I'm traveling with the best possible company in the galaxy g) HOLIDAAAAAY!

Anyway, let's talk about the important stuff for a bit before I have to run - how cool are these silver boots from uber cool East-London shoebrand Miista? So cool that I'm sure even Noel Fielding is extrmely jealous.

Comme des Filles ♥ Farfetch

So happy to share with you guys this outfit post that I did in collaboration with my favourite online luxury destination, Farfetch. The lovely people behind the brand asked me about my ultimate spring shopping wish list for their new Google+ feature Farfetch Connect. I opted for a laid-back luxury look with Acne leather leggings, a chunky Helmut Lang knit jumper, and a pair of seriously cool Givency biker boots. This look is perfect for these early spring days when it's sunny and sort-of-warm-but-at-any-point-the-cold-wind-might-come-around-the-corner-kinda days. You can find my feature here.

Farfetch stock over 2000 fashion products from a range of well-known designer labels, including all my favourites from Kokon To Zai to Chloé to Zadig & Voltaire and Givenchy. Basically, if it's to die for, they have it. Check out the Farfetch Google+ channel and all the Farfetch Connect features here, make sure to also check out what other bloggers like Claire Liu from Von Vogue are wishing for this spring.

April Webshop Favourites

I don't think anyone has missed it: 70's are a big trend this season. I'm not a huge fan of the 70's flares, suede skirts and awkward lengths, but always love getting some inspiration and new ideas from the leading trends. Here are a few of my favourite pieces from around the web for a subtle and chic way to embrace the 70s this spring. This burgundy leather jacket is amazing, as are all the pieces that Muubaa create, and what's even more amazing is that it's on sale, along with other cool jackets, shorts, and dresses. A good time to update your leather game girls.

Casual Denim

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the short break from the blog, I decided to take Easter as a proper holiday like as kids and not do any work, apart from a quick meeting on Saturday and a half-day today. Generally speaking from Friday till Sunday I didn't do anything I didn't enjoy or want to do, and I'm gonna be honest with you - it was pretty awesome (which is a SHOCKER, I know). Especially in a city like London where everyone is constantly stressing and trying to hurry forwards as much as possible by default, it's amazing what one weekend of moving completely at your own pace and doing what you want, when you want, can do for you. Feeling very much prepared for the challenges the spring is going to bring now, without forgetting a long-weekend break to Europe we have planned with my boyfriend (okay fine, he planned it) in the middle of April. Can't wait!
